This was the best class of the day and a lot of quality dogs went cardless. 1 Beardsell & Van-Beck's Magical Trick from Newlaithe - I did this dog well the last time I judged and I haven't changed my opinion of him. Very stylish medium Brindle/White with both body and head in proportion. Evident forechest with well arched neck flowing into strong short back with level topline. Correct tailset and hammy well angulated quarters which he used with purpose. Lovely well balanced head clean skull strong muzzle and good mouth. Drove round the ring effortlessly. Pleased to award him the CC and on the referee's decision BIS

Beardsell & Van Beck’s Magical Trick from Newlaithe, lovely short coupled brindle dog who has matured well since I last judged him, good neck, front & topline, nice round bone & tight feet, evident forechest, carrying just the right amount of weight, typical head with evident chin, blocky muzzle, defined stop, dark expressive eyes & good rise of skull, strong quarters, so drove round the ring well, a happy showman.
