27th December - Sleaford & District Canine Open Show
What better way to spend by Birthday than at a Dog Show!!
Our Breed Judge today was Mr Simon Luxmoore (Hushwing/Zima) who awarded Moonglow second in Puppy, Newlaithe Luccianna second in Junior and
Magical Trick won a good Open Class
In the Challenge we were delighted for Magical Trick to take BEST OF BREED
The Working Group today was judges by Mr Alan Mease (Barembak) who out of a big strong group awarded Magical Trick

17th December - Midland Boxer Club Open Show
The last Club Show of the year where we entered Moonglow and Newlaithe Luccianna (her very first show) in the Special Puppy Event under our Judge
Sarah Portlock, both won their classes and Moonglow won Best Special Puppy Bitch and Reserve Best Special Puppy in Show
In the Open Show, judged by Christine Breakspear, Magical Trick was second in Open, Moonglow won Minor Puppy and Newlaithe Luccianna won Puppy
In the Challenge Moonglow took Best Puppy Bitch and Reserve Best Puppy in Show

11th December - LKA
An easy day for the last Championship Show of the year with only one of our own dogs entered - however we did show three others being
Newlaithe Trojan, owned by Trevor and Julie, who although a little 'awkward' in the ring took VHC in his first Puppy class
Magicans Wonder, owned by Loretta Harris, continues his good run with a super second in a strong Post Graduate class and
So Attractive
owned by Sue Lott VHC in Limit
Our star for the day was our own Moonglow who at only 6 months won the biggest class of the day - Minor Puppy with 17 entries which
also qualifies her for Crufts 2012

4th December - Chesterfield Canine Open Show
A small Open Show today for us - practicing with our new puppy
Our Judge today was Mrs Lesley Tomlinson (Coalacre) who to our delight awarded Moonglow first in Puppy and Magical Trick first in Open
In the Challenge we couldn't of asked for anything more as Magical Trick won BEST OF BREED and Moonglow BEST PUPPY IN BREED
In the Groups we were delighted to win WORKING GROUP 2 and WORKING PUPPY GROUP 2

3rd December - The Cotswold Boxer Club CH Show
Well there is not much to say about today except WOW - Team Newlaithe fantastic day all round
Our Judges today were Mr Goran Bodegard - Sweden (Dogs) and Mr Kevin Young - Sunkap (Bitches)
Our newest member Moonglow started the day off in Minor Puppy and out of 20 entries took reserve which for 6 months old was just great, Pure Faith in Junior
took a good VHC, So Attractive won a super Limit Class (18 entries), Magic Wand for Claire third in Limit and CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM won Veteran
In the dogs Magicians Wonder (13 entries) won a super Undergraduate class, Magical Trick took second in Limit (25 entries), Very Attracted won the Limit Class
for John Cormack & Veronica Feaver and CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM won the biggest Open Dog Class I have ever seen - 23 Entries
In the Dog Challenge Very Attracted to Newlaithe won the
CHALLENGE CERTIFCATE and BEST OPPOSITE SEX IN SHOW
and CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM won the
RESERVER CHALLANGE CERTIFICATE
Another Milestone reached as this takes the total of Newlaithe's Green Cards to 101
Even though two different Judges just delighted that litter brother and sister So Attractive and Very Attracted both won Limit
And again litter brother and sister Magicians Wonder and Magic Wand - Undergraduate winner and third in Limit respectively

13th November - Merseyside Boxer Club Open Show
So following our great day yesterday we set off for a local Club Open Show - still a little tired from yesterday but The Merseyside is always a super show
Today's judge was Mr Alan Cuthbert who awarded Newlaithe Fast n' Furious second in Debutante, Magical Trick first in Open Dog and
Newlaithe Redesigned
second in Novice
In the Challenge we were delighted when Magical Trick won BEST DOG followed by
RESERVE BEST IN SHOW
What a great weekend - now to relax for a few weeks!

12th November - South Western Boxer Club CH Show

WOW - What a weekend for Newlaithe, first of all a long journey down to Weston-Super-Mare where our judges were Mrs Christina Chapman (Dogs)
and Mrs Linda Spencer (Bitches)
Starting off our day was CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM who won Veteran Bitch, Magic Wand took a great second in her first Limit Class in very good company,
Newlaithe Fast 'n Furious took a super third in Yearling and ending the day was CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM who won a super Open Class
In the Dog Challenge CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM pulled out all the stops to win his fourth
CHALLENGE CERTICATE

Both Judges then had to decide on the overall winner and as neither could decide the Referee was called upon - Mr Paul Russell
To our delight CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM won
BEST IN SHOW

and CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM won
BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

Definitely our lucky Club Chow as CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM won his second CC here last year and Best In Show too

5th November - Working Breeds of Scotland
A long long drive up to Edinburgh where our Judge was Mr Martin Wyles
Magical Trick took VHC in Limit and CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM second in Open (behind the CC Winner)
In the Stakes CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM went into his first Champion Stakes and took second behind one of the top winning Newfoundlands
and CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM VHC in the Veteran Stakes

October 2011

30th October - Midland Counties CH Show
Stafford today for our Judge Anne Arch - a very easy day
CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM took second in a strong Open class

22nd October - London & Home Counties Boxer Club CH Show
A long journey today for us down to Guildford where our Judges were Mrs Betty McDonald (Dogs) and Mr Derek Smith (Bitches)
We only entered one dog Magical Trick who put on a sterling performance in Limit but sadly no place
In the girl Pure Faith, owned by Paul Hyde, showed her socks off and took third in a strong Junior class, Magic Wand handled by Claire took third in a super Yearling class (the eventual CC winner came from this class). Stolen Melody went next and took second in Graduate but our star for the day goes to
CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM who won a super Veteran class and in the challenge showed her socks off and took the
RESERVE BITCH CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE
Wow - at 8 years old she can still give them all a run for their money - she then topped the day off with
BEST VETERAN IN SHOW
This now puts Hayley's total to 6 CCs and 6 Reserve CCs

16th October - Mancunian Boxer Club Open Show
A local Open Show today for us in Manchester where our Judge was Mrs Jan Buckley (Shakatan)
We were delighted that Magical Trick won Open Dog, Best Dog and Reserve Best in Show
Newlaithe Redesigned took a good third in Novice

9th October - The Northern Boxer Club Open Show
A local open show today where our Judge was Ms Jeannine Pye, who awarded Magical Trick second in Open and Newlaithe Redesigned won Novice
Newlaithe Trojan, owned by Trevor & Julie, won third in the Special Puppy Event and in the Open Show won Minor Puppy Dog
Our star for the day goes to CH Newlaithe On Target's JW ShCM daughter Pure Faith, owned by Paul Hyde, who won a good Yearling class followed by Best Bitch and Reserve Best in Show

1st October - Trent Boxer Club CH Show
Well what a day! In the dogs under John Kehoe Magical Trick made an appearance after a couple of months out of the ring and took a super VHC in Limit in the largest
class of the day, CH Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM reserve in a strong Open Class.
The bitch Judge was Malcolm Grey who awarded CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM second in Veteran but our star for the day was Magic Wand over Newlaithe,
owned and handled (to perfection as always) by Claire Coyne who won a super Yearling class and in the challenge pulled out all the stop to win the
BITCH CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE and BEST OPPOSITE SEX
Congratulations to Claire and Lola and to Kevin and Ollie who were not able to be there to see their super win

A small milestone achieved for Newlaithe today as Claire's CC takes our total Challenge Certificates to 50

29th September - Driffield CH Show
A local show today at Wetherby Racecourse where our Judge was Mrs Judy Alton
A very relaxing day today where we showed the new kid on the block Newlaithe Trojan, owned and adored by Trevor and Julie Welch, he was in a good
Minor Puppy class and we were delighted with VHC - all the hard work that Trevor & Julie have put in paid off as he behaved like a pro!
Newlaithe Fast 'n Furious then went in Yearling and took third qualifying him for Crufts 2012, he then went into the Special Beginners Stakes with Sarah and took a super second
A lovely day was had by all

In the Stakes Newlaithe Fast 'n Furious took second in both Special Beginners and Yearling and Stolen Melody second in Good Citizens

WOW - What a day! Just the one dog entered today for us under all-rounder Mr Terry Nethercott
However Newlaithe Fast 'n Furious took VHC in Yearling for Sarah, Magic Wand a very good second in Yearling for Claire and
Stolen Melody a good third in Graduate
Our star for the day has to go to Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM who won a super Open Class and to our delight took his
Crowning CC in the Challenge - the applause around the ringside was just great
Subject to KC confirmation he will now be
CHAMPION NEWLAITHE ON TARGET JW ShCM
We then had to challenge the Bitch CC Winner who is currently the Top Bitch in the UK for Best of Breed - and won it!!!
The Working Group today was judged by Mr Frank Kane
We were absolutely delighted that we were one of his Final 8 Top Working Dogs of the day
What a super day, thanks to everyone for their support and to our breed judge for making our special boy a Champion Special Boy!

Magic Wand attended Horley Open Show today and won Post Graduate, in the Challenge she went on to win BEST OF BREED
and to top it all took WORKING GROUP 2 in a super Group Challenge

20th August - Welsh KC CH Show
All the way to Builth Wells today which although mileage is only around 160 each way its so windy and hilly its quite a trek - hey ho we arrived in plenty of time
Our Judge today was Mr Frank Kane who awarded reserve to Newlaithe Fast 'N Furious in Yearling, second to Magicians Wand in Novice,
second to Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM in Open and a super second in Yearling to Newlaithe Magic Spread who hasn't been at a show all year

Magicians Wonder took a super second in Novice, Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM second in Open and Magic Wand third in Yearling

7th August - British Boxer Club CH Show
Down to Stoneleigh today where our Judges were Miss Suzanne Carter (Dogs) and Miss Sandra Carter (Bitches)
First in was CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM who won a super Veteran class, Pure Faith was next and out of the biggest class of the day (20 entries) she took third,
Magic Wand VHC in Yearling, Stolen Melody a good third in Graduate and last but not least Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM VHC in Open
We were then delighted that CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM on a joint decision won

However the Newlaithe flag kept flying with Claire and Magic Wand who took second in a good Junior class
Claire also won a super YKC Handling 17-24 Class and qualified for Crufts 2012

31st July - Midland Boxer Club Open Show
A Club Open Show for us today where our Judge was Mrs Mandy Vearncombe
We entered Newlaithe Redesigned for a day out and were delighted with reserve in Novice, she doesn't like being in the ring at all!
However our star of the show was Pure Faith (litter sister to Aust CH Targeted by Newlaithe) who won Junior, the biggest class of the day and in the Challenge took
RESERVE BEST BITCH

23rd July - Leeds CH Show

A local show for us today at Harewood House, the weather held out for us (just!) and we had a great day
Our Judge today was Mr Jack Bispham
Magicians Wonder took VHC in Yearling, Retro took third in Graduate, Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM won a super Open Class, Pure Faith won fourth
in a strong Junior class, Stolen Melody a super second in Graduate (only beaten by the Reserve CC Winner) and Pure Illusion made a rare appearance
and took VHC in Limit
All in all a good day had by all

On the same weekend we heard fantastic news from across the waters both in Melbourne and Perth
We were delighted to receive a phone call from Dave & Faye Crooks to say that Target had won his crowning Challenge, Best of Breed
and Best Junior in Group making him now
AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION TARGETED BY NEWLAITHE (Imp UK)
This is Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM's first Champion he has sired and we are just over the moon
Well done to Dave for presenting him so well, Faye for looking after him so lovingly and to Target for just being a super star!
And special thanks to Margaret for taking such good care of Target whilst Dave and Faye were over here in the UK for a few weeks prior to this show

We then received another phone call from Brian and Sue McKie with Spencer who had just won his third Challenge beating already titled dogs then

1st July - Windsor CH Show
One of the most beautiful venues of the year the Queens Gardens overlooked by the Castle
The weather was beautiful and our Judge was Mr Philip Greenway
Magical Trick, expertly handled by Dave Crooks (Australia), took reserve in Mid-Limit and Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM second in Open Dog
Magicians Wonder took a super third in Novice whilst his litter sister Magic Wand won Yearling handled by Claire
Thanks to Dave for stepping in with Dougal - a great day was had by all!

June 2011

26th June - Blackpool CH Show
A fairly local show today for us in Blackpool with special guests Dave & Faye Crooks from Australia (who own Targeted by Newlaithe) who have been staying with us over the weekend, before traveling onto Windsor and The World Show in Paris
Magical Trick won second in Mid Limit, Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM VHC in Open and the star of the day was
Pure Faith (sired by On Target and litter sister to Targeted by Newlaithe) who won a super Junior class (the largest class of the day with 16 entries), qualifying for Crufts 2012 and then made the final 4 of the Bitches in the Challenge at just 12 months old - thanks to our Judge Mrs Sandra Parle

22nd June - Cheshire County Show
Although we were not at this Show the Newlaithe flag still flew with Pure Faith (litter sister to Targeted by Newlaithe - Australia)
by winning her Junior Class under Mandy Vearncombe
Well Done to Paul and Millie

18th June - Lower Beeding Association Companion Show
Just received news from Lola's owner, Claire Morris, that Magic Wand over Newlaithe won her KC Working Class and then went on to win BEST IN SHOW

9th June - Three Counties CH Show
Our Judge today was Mr Joe Smith who awarded Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM reserve in Open Dog

15th May - Trent Boxer Club Open Show
Sadly although we were entered here today we were unable to attend, however we had a couple of people flying the flag for Newlaithe in
Newlaithe Fast 'n Furious who won Junior Dog and in the final cut for BEST DOG and Pure Faith (sired by Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM) who
took second in the Special Puppy Walk and a super second in Puppy Bitch the largest class of the day

Magical Trick won a good Post Graduate class and made the Final 4 for the CC, Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM took
second in a very strong Open class (14 entries - beaten only by the CC Winner)
CH Newlaithe Just Stunning third in Veteran Dog/Bitch and as was only beaten by 2 Males was the Veteran Bitch winner
Stolen Melody took VHC in Graduate

27th - Essex & Eastern Boxer Club CH Show
What a tiring day, its not the longest journey us for sure but with the clocks changing it certainly seems like it
However we still had a good day even if we did have match sticks to hold our eyes open on the way home!!
Our Dog Judge was Mrs Karina Le Mare and Botches Mrs Mandy Laidlaw
Magical Trick took second in a large Limit Class (18 entries) behind the Reserve CC winner, Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM made the
cut in Open and CH Newlaithe Just Stunning won a super Veteran Class followed by
BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

20th - Essex & Eastern Boxer Club Rally
Magician's Wonder with Newlaithe won Junior followed by Best in Rally qualifying him for
Essex & Eastern's Dog of the Year - Well Done Branston and Loretta

What a busy 10 days!
11th - CRUFTS
We started the day with style CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM made her third appearance in Veteran and out of a class of 10 took first under Mrs Helen Banks
We also showed So Attractive in Limit and had a super second, Stolen Melody took reserve in Good Citizens handled by Pauline (her rightful owner)
and Magic Wand, handled by Claire, made the cut in a good Junior class
In the boys, under Mr Eddie Banks Magician's Wonder took a great third in Junior qualifying him for Crufts 2012 and Magical Trick third in Mid-Limit
All over for another year now!!

5th - The National Dog of the Year Competition
First we attended the DOTY in Coventry where Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM had qualified
Sadly not placed in the final 3 but we did collect our award for the Third Top Winning Male for 2010
Home for one day and then started with Crufts (working there as well which is why its a very hard week)

Magician's Wonder at Newlaithe
with his owner Loretta Harris has had a super few weeks
At London & Home Counties (Sidcup Branch) he won his Junior Class and then Best in Match
Followed by London & Home Counties (Detling Branch) again won his Junior class and then Best in Match
Followed by Kent County Open Show, judged by Mrs Eileen Kelly (Casemates) where he won his Junior class followed by BEST OF BREED

26th - The Scottish Boxer Club SH Show
I am sure this trip gets longer and longer - almost 600 miles in total and leaving at some unheard of hour in the morning is not the best - but we keep doing it!!!
Saying that we had a good day all round so worth the effort :o)
Our dog judge was Mr Keith Nathan who awarded Newlaithe Conjured Design VHC in Yearling, Magical Trick won Post Graduate and
Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM second in a strong Open class
Newlaithe Fast 'N Furious, owned by Sarah Fielding also won a good VHC in Junior
Our bitch judge was Mrs Marion McArdle who awarded Newlaithe Redesigned a lovely second in a strong Minor Puppy class
qualifying her for Crufts 2012 and CH Newlaithe Just Stunning ShCM made her second appearance in Veteran and won the class

A local Open Show for us under Miss Desnie Pye
Newlaithe Conjured Design took third in Post Graduate and Magical Trick won Open
Newlaithe Fast 'N Furious also won third and reserve in Junior and Novice
Also today at The London & Home Counties Boxer Club's Limited Show
Magic Wand with Claire took a good second in her first Junior class

12th - The Midland Boxer Club CH Show
Today our Judges were Mrs Ruth Perret (Dogs) and Mrs Maritha Ostlund-Holmsten - Sweden (Bitches)
Newlaithe On Target JW ShCM won VHC in Open, Magicians Wonder won reserve in a strong Junior class and
Stolen Melody second in Graduate

6th - The Merseyside Limit Show
A local Limited Show today where our Special Puppy Judge was Mr Callum Mackay and the Limit Show Mrs Sue Garner
Newlaithe Redesigned on only her second outing won Special Puppy 6-8 Months, Best Special Puppy Bitch and
Reserve Best Special Puppy in Show
In the Limit Show Newlaithe Conjured Design took third in Post Graduate, Magical Trick won a super Open Class and Newlaithe Redesigned won Minor Puppy Bitch
In the Challenge Newlaithe Redesigned gave a sterling performance to win Reserve Best Bitch, Best Puppy Bitch and
Reserve Best Puppy in Show

A local Championship Show at Newark where our judges were Mrs Jean O'Connor Bitches and Mr A Palacin Dogs

Stolen Melody won Post Graduate, Best Bitch and Reserve Best of Breed

2nd - The Northern Boxer Club Open Show
The first show of the year and what a cracking start for Newlaithe On Target's progeny
